Study on Coordinated Control of New Energy Over-Frequency Ride-Through and Over-Frequency Generator-Tripping Scheme

Abstract After the fault isolation of outgoing power grid with a high proportion new energy, high-frequency shutdown third line defense is an important control measure to restrain rise frequency sending-end grid. With increase in intermittent sources such as wind and photo-voltaic power, characteristics have become more complex. Considering response emergency capabilities this paper proposes ride-through strategy based on energy stations. Through coordinated measures, stations can rapidly reduce their replace some costly conventional unit operations achieve economical safety control, after machine switching round action executed avoid over-switching triggering low cycle load shedding when reduced threshold value, it will trigger rapid recovery generation meet requirements refined stability modern grids. Based actual planning high-voltage transmission end scale, simulation system was built, model which verified feasibility proposed scheme for off ride-through, adaptability under different operation modes.
